Brainerd/Little Falls vs. Roseau

6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31

Slowing Roseau’s high-octane offense will likely be the biggest challenge for Brainerd/Little Falls, as the Rams (15-5-2, 7-1-0) have scored five or more goals in each of their last seven games and are the state’s eighth highest scoring team with 115 goals.

Roseau senior Kayla Santl has scored 34 goals, third most in the state and 15 more than her next closest teammate. Incredibly, she’s registered hat tricks in each of her last four games.

Brainerd/Little Falls (14-7-1, 6-0-0) has won just one of its last four outings, but the Warriors can draw confidence from a 3-3 tie against No. 2-1A Warroad on Jan. 20. Senior Gabbie Smith (18-15-33) has registered at least one point in six of her last seven games.
