No. 2 Minnetonka at No. 4 Wayzata
2:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18
At Plymouth Ice Center

Is three-time defending Class 2A state champion Minnetonka vulnerable? That would have been a ridiculous question entering the holidays, as the Skippers were cruising along at 13-0-0 and again ranked No. 1. But beginning with a 1-0 loss at Eden Prairie on Dec. 27, ‘Tonka is 2-2-1 in its last five games, and the schedule only gets more difficult with the Lake Conference slate in full swing. The Skippers must get more scoring to support a strong defense led by University of Minnesota recruit Sydney Baldwin (7-14-21).
