No. 2 Minnetonka at No. 6 Edina
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14
At Braemar Ice Arena, Edina

Another Lake Conference matchup, another top-10 game of the week, as Minnetonka travels to Edina’s Braemar Arena. The Hornets are just 3-5-0 since Dec. 14, but that’s largely a result of the tough Lake schedule than it is the power of Edina. Three of the five losses are all by a single goal to conference foes (2-1 at Minnetonka, 2-1 against Hopkins and 4-3 at Eden Prairie) ranked in the top 10. In the loss to the Skippers, leading scorer Taylor Williamson (22-15-37) scored Edina’s lone goal and Anna Goldstein stopped 16 of 18 shots. Senior Boomer Sonnek (11-1-0, 1.68. .921) has split time with Goldstein and started the Hornets’ last game, a 4-1 victory at Wayzata.
