Mikayla Bohner, Faribault. The senior goaltender played two solid games last week, backing an 11-1 win against Albert Lea with 36 saves on Jan. 7 and making 56 stops during a 4-0 loss to Rochester Lourdes on Jan. 10 — facing nearly 100 shots between the two games. Through 16 games this season, Bohner boasts a 1.43 goals against average and .945 save percentage.

Leah Bosch, Hopkins/St. Louis Park. Bosch gave up just two goals on 52 shots, a .962 save percentage, against Osseo/Park Center on Jan. 9. Despite the Royals having only four wins this season, the sophomore goaltender has a .907 save percentage through 18 games. After Osseo/Park Center scored two empty net goals, the Royals lost 4-1.

Allie Bussey, Hibbing/Chisholm. The senior forward led two road wins for the Bluejackets, scoring seven total goals during wins at Eveleth-Gilbert (8-1, Jan. 7) and International Falls (5-0, Jan. 9). Bussey scored four times at Hibbing/Chisholm, including once short-handed. At International Falls, she recorded a hat trick, contributing one goal each period. It was the first two times this season she’s scored more than two goals in a game.

Ashley Hess, Elk River/Zimmerman. Hess, a sophomore goaltender, made a season-high 39 saves during the Elks’ 1-0 loss to Grand Rapids/Greenway on Jan. 10. Hess was perfect through the first two periods, making 25 saves, before she let in her lone goal of the game early in the third period.

Jenna Lawry, Chisago Lakes. The junior forward led the Wildcats’ 3-0 week, tallying 12 total points during those three games. The week started with a 7-1 victory against St. Francis/North Branch on Jan. 7, where Lawry tallied one assist each period before finishing the game with a goal mid-way through the third period. During a 5-2 defeat of Mound Westonka on Jan. 8, Lawry scored once a power play and once at even strength and added an assist. The Wildcats finished the week at Princeton (7-3, Jan. 10), where Lawry contributed three assists, including one short-handed, before scoring back-to-back goals in the third period. Her two goals, the first of which was short-handed, were scored 19 seconds apart.

Sadie Long, Farmington. The junior forward tallied a season-high three points, all goals, during the Tigers’ 4-3 overtime win against Apple Valley on Jan. 7. Long scored the Tigers’ second goal of the game, giving the Tigers a temporary two-point lead. Late in the third period, when the Tigers were down by a goal, Long scored the tying goal with 43 seconds left. She then played the hero in overtime, scoring 37 seconds into the extra time to seal the win and extend the Tigers’ win streak to seven games.

Olivia Mobley, Breck. The senior forward had back-to-back six-point performances, leading the Mustangs to wins against Minnehaha United (10-2, Jan. 7) and St. Paul United (9-1, Jan. 9). At Minnehaha United, Mobley recorded all six points — one goal and five assists — in the first period. One assist was on the power play and all six points were within nine minutes, 27 seconds. At St. Paul United, Mobley recorded three goals and three assists. She scored once on the power play and once short-handed.

Taylor Nelson, Cloquet-Esko-Carlton. Nelson and the Lumberjacks are on a 15-game winning streak, thanks in part to Nelson’s offensive production. The senior forward produced two four-goal games last week — both games scoring two goals and adding two assists — to help the Lumberjacks defeat Superior (Wis.) 7-0 on Jan. 7 and Cambridge-Isanti/Mora/Pine City 5-4 on Jan. 11.

Abbie Thompson, Mounds View. The junior goaltender secured her fourth shutout of the season on Jan. 11 as the Mustangs defeated White Bear Lake 3-0. Thompson made 50 saves, her third highest total of the season, to earn her fourth consecutive win.
