And the winner is...MN Girls' Hockey Hub Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from Dec. 13-18.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Hockey Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Jori Jones, Roseville. The senior goaltender, among the top in the state in save percentage, posted a .975 save percentage through two games last week, stopping 79 of 81 shots between the two games. On Dec. 14, the Raiders battled to a 1-1 overtime tie against Stillwater as Jones made 46 saves and faced more than triple the shots of her opposing goaltender. On Dec. 18 Jones backed a 2-1 victory against East Ridge, turning aside 33 shots.

Top performer candidates

On Dec. 18 Jones backed a 2-1 victory against East Ridge, turning aside 33 shots.

Ilsa Lindaman, Duluth Marshall. The sophomore forward is averaging over three points per game so far this season, playing important part of the Hilltoppers’ lineup in all situations. In their 9-1 victory against Pine City Area, Lindaman recorded a season-high seven points, including four goals and three assists. Lindaman tallied two points on power plays and two shorthanded.

Cara Sajevic, Gentry Academy. The junior forward led the Stars’ 13-5 rout of Chisago Lakes on Dec. 14, recording her first hat trick of the season—followed shortly after by a second. Sajevic started the game’s scoring with a power play tally 3:28 into the game, followed by her second goal less than 30 seconds later. Sajevic completed her hat trick at the 10:17 mark of the first period. After a trio of other Stars got in on the scoring, Sajevic was back on the offensive attack and recorded three more goals in the third period to give her six goals in the game.

Whitney Tuttle, Rosemount. Tuttle recorded points on all of the Irish’s goals during victories against Burnsville and Prior Lake last week. On Dec. 16, the senior forward scored all three goals, including a shorthanded tally, in the Irish’s 3-2 victory at Burnsville. Two nights later, Tuttle recorded her second hat trick of the week, including one goal on a power play, and added five assists, including one on a power play and one shorthanded, as the Irish defeated Prior Lake 8-2. Tuttle is averaging over three points per game and is among the state’s leaders in goals, assists, and points this season.

Kamryn Van Batavia, Luverne. The junior forward has picked up where she left off last season, dominating on offense and leading the Cardinals to several convincing wins while outscoring opponents 93-20 through 11 games. Van Batavia is has recorded points on 56 of the season's goals, including 20 points through three games last week. She scored 13 goals and tallied seven assists to lead the Cardinals to victories against Windom (9-0), Austin (7-3) and Rochester Mayo (7-1).
