And the winner is...MN Girls' Hockey Hub Top Performer revealed

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Girls' Hockey Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Anna Rader, Mankato East. The junior goaltender recorded her second consecutive shutout and fourth in the past six games on Jan. 25. The Cougars edged Northfield 1-0, avenging a 5-2 loss to Northfield from early in the season. Rader stopped a season-high 44 shots to earn her 17th win this season, which ties her for fifth most across the state.

Top performer candidates

Lucie Bond, Minnehaha United. The senior forward’s dominating season on offense continues. She recorded 15 points through three games last week as United defeated Rochester Mayo, Rock Ridge and North Shore by a combined score of 23-4. Bond recorded a hat trick in each of the three games and six total assists. She had two shorthanded goals and two power play assists. Bond, who has recorded three or more points in 16 of 22 games this season, is averaging 3.77 points per game.

Lily Fetch, East Ridge. Fetch recorded four points in each of the two Raptors wins last week, half of them on power plays. On Jan. 25, the Raptors defeated Woodbury 5-3 as the junior forward scored three goals and added an assist. She led the Raptors to a three-point lead after the first period, adding an insurance goal early in the third. On Jan. 29 at Mounds View, she scored once and added three assists. The Raptors came back from a 3-0 deficit after the first period with Fetch recording three power play points in the second period and a final assist in the third.

Audrey Garton, Holy Angels. The sophomore forward had an impressive week leading the Stars to three victories. Garton recorded a pair of goals in each game as the Stars defeated Breck, New Prague and Bloomington Jefferson. She added a single assist in two of the games and five assists in the third for a total of 13 points on the week.

Marie Moran, Apple Valley. Moran had a hand in all of the Eagles' goals on Jan. 29 as they defeated Shakopee 6-5 in overtime. The junior's six points was a season high. Moran recorded her first hat trick of the season, scoring all three of her goals within less than two minutes during the third period. She also had three assists, including one on a power play and one shorthanded.
