Saturday's girls' hockey roundup: Hill-Murray tops Edina

HILL-MURRAY 2, EDINA 1: In a battle of top Class 2A programs, the No. 2-ranked Pioneers mustered enough offense to hold off the No. 5 Hornets. Hill-Murray senior forward Hannah Brandt's goal on the power play with 4 minutes, 8 seconds remaining was the winner.

MOUNDS VIEW 4, PARK 3 (OT): Mounds View raced to a three-goal lead after the first period, but Park roared back in the second period with three goals of its own. In the extra period, Mustangs senior forward Maddie Peake completed the comeback with a power-play goal at the 1:49 mark.

ROGERS 3, SARTELL/SAUK-RAPIDS 2: Forward Emily Antony continued her torrid scoring pace, getting two goals and adding an assist for Rogers. The freshman now has 18 points (14 goals, four assists).
