• SIMLEY 1, MAHTOMEDI 0: Senior Jessica Pate will get a chance to lead the Spartans for at least one more game. Pate scored the game’s only goal with eight minutes remaining, moving Simley into the Class 1A, Section 4 semifinals with a victory over the Zephyrs. Eighth-grader Emma Tschida made 24 saves to record the shutout.
