Friday's girls' hockey roundup: Jefferson routs Kennedy

Kelsey Cline had a hat trick and added a pair of assists.

• BLOOMINGTON JEFFERSON 9, BLOOMINGTON KENNEDY 0: Kelsey Cline had a hat trick and added a pair of assists as the Jaguars shut out the Eagles. Kendal Fasching had a pair of assists, and Maggie Dagget tallied a goal and an assist to round out the skaters with multiple points. Bailey Plaman stopped seven shots to earn the shutout.
 
• BENILDE-ST. MARGARET'S 8, TOTINO-GRACE 0: The Red Knights raced out to a 5-0 lead after the first period and never looked back, blanking the Eagles on their home ice. Six Red Knights registered multiple points, with Kelly Pannek (one goal, four assists), Brittany Wheeler (two goals, one assist), and Caitlin Reilly (one goal, two assists) leading the way. Logan Knip had an active night in net, stopping 54 shots in the loss, while her counterpart Abigail Miller stopped all 10 Eagles shots in the shutout.
 
• SHAKOPEE 4, NEW PRAGUE 2: Amy Menke and Lauren Hespenheide each had two goals, and Joelle Lindstrom tallied a pair of assists as the Sabers doubled up on the Trojans. Brittany Sticha and Mikaela Algren scored the goals for the Trojans. Amber Flood stopped 32 of 34 shots in net for the victory.
