• LAKEVILLE NORTH 3, DODGE COUNTY 2: After trailing 2-0, the Panthers scored three unanswered goals and killed two consecutive power plays on Thursday night to advance to the state tournament for the third time in the last four years. Dodge County led except for about the last 2 1/2 minutes. But the Wildcats' upset bid came to a screeching halt mid-way through the second period as Lakeville started converting their power play opportunities. Ashley Kloncz scored the go-ahead goal for Lakeville North with 2:39 left.

• FOREST LAKE 3, ELK RIVER 2: The Rangers earned their first trip to the state tournament in a dozen years by beating the Elks in Blaine. Forest Lake jumped out to a quick lead, and held the Elks to just one goal for much of the game. A late power-play score for Elk River made things interesting, but the Forest Lake stout defense held up.
