Eden Prairie remains undefeated through 13 games despite playing one of the state's toughest schedules.

The Eagles' streak, however, has twice been in peril. Thief River Falls and Hopkins each pushed Eden Prairie in games that ended in 1-1 draws.

Eden Prairie (11-0-2), ranked No. 1 in the Class 2A coaches poll, could be in for another tight game when the Eagles head to No. 10-2A Cretin-Derham Hall.

The Raiders (10-1-2) have quietly taken over as the top team in the Suburban East Conference, a league that includes traditional powers Roseville and Stillwater.

Cretin-Derham Hall is 8-0-1 in conference play and has wins over Roseville and Stillwater. The Raiders' record also includes a 2-2 tie at Mounds View, a program that participated in the Class 2A state tournament a year ago.

The Raiders' only loss is to No. 1-1A Blake. A win over the Eagles in our Top Game of the Week could provide a big confidence boost.
