Eden Prairie plays Wayzata, Edina and Minnetonka over the next 10 days, a gauntlet of games that provides plenty of challenges to an Eagles team trying to hang on to its unblemished record.

Of those three Lake Conference rivals, Wayzata may very have the best chance to topple Eden Prairie, ranked No. 1 in the Class 2A coaches poll.

Minnetonka missed on two chances to defeat Eden Prairie, with both games ending in overtime losses. Edina is experiencing a down year, and it's unlikely the Hornets can steal a win this late in the season even though they still play everyone tough.

Wayzata lost to Eden Prairie 3-2 in overtime on Dec. 20, and the Trojans are still one of the better teams in the state despite going 2-2 in their last four games.

These are two balanced teams that possess above-average goalie play and don't rely on a single scorer.

Eden Prairie has gotten quite comfortable as the top-ranked team in the state, though, and it's going to be tough to knock down the Eagles. Wayzata, however, is poised to be the team that finally does, making this potential upset our Top Game of the Week.
