Red Wing had two players combine for seven goals in a 9-2 victory over Century in Big Nine Conference girls hockey on Saturday.

Maddy Hardyman scored four goals and Reagan Haley added goals and two assists for Red Wing.

he visiting Wingers held a 2-0 lead after one period and then broke the game open by outscoring Century 6-1 in the second period.

"The first period was up and down the rink and we had a few chances but didn't convert," Century co-coach Tom Aney said. "Red Wing has some very strong offensive players who can put the puck in the net and they made the most of their scoring chances."

Jessie Aney and Maddie Leqve had one goal each for Century.

Abby Cunningham (16 saves) and Kelsey Miller (five saves) split time in goal for Century.
