With the schedule letting up this week for the holiday break and tournament matchups pending, we’ve selected 10 of the best contests from the next 14 days for our Top Games of the Week.
One game we found particularly intriguing was Chaska/Chanhassen against Cretin-Derham Hall in the first round of the Eden Prairie Mid-Winter Meltdown on Dec. 28.
Neither team has had much success at the event recently, but that could change for one this year.
The Raiders (8-3-1, 6-1-1), ranked No. 9 in Class 2A by Let’s Play Hockey, are taking off after a slow start and will test their mettle against the dynamic No. 10-2A Storm Hawks, who are also flying high after going undefeated in their last five games.
Is this the year one finally breaks through and brings home the hardware from the holiday competition? Both have a chance, but we'll have to wait until next week to find out.
Tab over to see details on each game.
