Lorence lifts Irondale

IRONDALE 1, TOTINO-GRACE 0: If Irondale needs a goal, it’s a safe  bet that Meghan Lorence  will  be the one to score it.  The senior forward scored the lone goal of the game, her 21st of the season, midway through the third period as the Knights shut out the Eagles. Junior goaltender Gillian McDonald made 23 saves to record the shutout.

ARMSTRONG 4, CHAMPLIN PARK 3 (OT:) Freshman forward Marissa Odell’s overtime goal lifted the Falcons over the Rebels. Champlin Park forced overtime with two third period goals by junior Kelsey Kimball and senior Angie Eggerichs.

HOLY FAMILY/WACONIA 3, RICHFIELD 2 (OT): Senior forward Abigail New scored with just over one minute remaining in overtime, giving the Fire the road win. Freshman Sarah Rosland scored in the first and second period for Holy Family/Waconia.

ST. FRANCIS/NORTH BRANCH 2, ST. LOUIS PARK 1: In a losing effort, Orioles goaltender Hannah Brodersen stopped 48 shots. The only Saint who could get the puck past Brodersen was Kelly Kotowicz. Her second goal came late in the third period and was the game winner.
