St. Louis Park junior scores game-winner with 1 second remaining

ST. LOUIS PARK 2, MINNEAPOLIS 1: Junior center Maya Ingvoldstad scored an unassisted goal with 1 second left on the scoreboard clock, giving the Orioles a victory over the Novas. Sophomore goaltender Hannah Brodersen made 32 saves for St. Louis Park.

EAGAN 5, APPLEY VALLEY 0: Molly Sparks scored the first two goals and Megan Wolfe the last two in the Wildcats’ victory over the Eagles in the South Suburban. Emily Oltrogge only had to make 11 saves to register the shutout.

NORTH WRIGHT COUNTY 4, ST. CLOUD 2: Junior forward Sam Pitts scored two goals after being moved up from the third line to the top line, leading North Wright County past the Ice Breakers. Pitts filled on the top line for  freshman Kaleigh Hamann, who left the game early after being hit by the puck in the ear. Senior captain Ashley McDonald, who is battling back from a broken wrist, had three assists for North Wright County.

NORTH ST. PAUL 4, TARTAN 3 (OT): Kayla Pilarski scored the game-winning goal just 8 seconds into the extra session, giving the Polars a come from behind win over the Titans in the Classic Suburban. Erin Jungmann’s goal midway through the third period tied it at three for the Polars.

PARK OF COTTAGE GROVE 2, CRETIN-DERHAM HALL 2 (OT): Sophomore forward Mary Turitto scored two goals in the final 3 minutes, 18 seconds, including the equalizer with 4 seconds remaining, as the Wolfpack rallied to tie the Raiders in the Suburban East.
