ANTHONY 0: The Red Knights had a 62-4 advantage in shots, but their only goals were from Sara Taffe on a first-period power play and from Brittany Wheeler with 2:53 to go in the third in the North Suburban matchup. The Panthers' Katie Bassett amassed 60 saves.

NORTH METRO 3, ARMSTRONG 2 (OT): Tara Abernathy scored in overtime for the Stars, who gave up a tying goal with 5:10 to go in regulation by Armstrong's Rachel Olson.

EDINA 6, HOPKINS 0: The Class 2A, No. 2 Hornets scored three times in the third period in this Lake Conference game. Sami Reber and Christie Brauer each scored twice.

APPLE VALLEY 1, BLOOMINGTON KENNEDY 0: Freshman forward Erica Power's goal at the 6:38 of the first period lifted the Eagles over Bloomington Kennedy in the South Suburban. Kelly Thomsen recorded 23 saves in the shutout victory.

MINNETONKA 5, EDEN PRAIRIE 3: A three-goal second period helped propel the Class 2A, No. 1 Skippers past No. 8 Eden Prairie. Carolyn Draayer led Minnetonka with two goals and two assists.
