The defendind Class 1A state champions Warriors will get a chance at another state title after beating Crookston 3-2 Thursday night in the Section 8 championship game.

Other section championships

No. 2 Breck knocked off No. 1 Blake 5-1 in the Section 5 championship game at the Parade Ice Garden in Minneapolis to advance to the state tournament.

In south central Minnesota, No. 3 seed Hutchinson was successful in its upset bid, beating No. 1 seed Mankato West 3-2 for the Section 2 championship at Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter.
