We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Other games to keep an eye on

Eden Prairie vs. Maple Grove, 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec 20. These one-loss teams will try to avoid adding another defeat and vie for a chance to move up in the state rankings. No. 6-2A Eden Prairie (6-1-2, 0-0-0) and No. 7-2A Maple Grove (7-1-1, 4-1-1) each feature a stingy defense, with both allowing no more than two goals per game.
